What eTickets is and how it works

Most airlines around the world offer e-tickets or e-tickets. One of the major advantages of eTicket is that it does not require a paper ticket / record to confirm your flight. The confirmation of your trip is contained in a computerized airline ticketing system for airlines.

An electronic ticket offers the following benefits: You do not need to carry a paper ticket while traveling and therefore have no fear of losing them or forgetting them behind you. As they exist in electronic format, you do not have to wait for your ticket to arrive in the mail. You can use your E-ticket to check self-service in machines, avoiding long queues when manually checking the desks. (Available by most airlines) You can also print your boarding pass and track your air miles (if applicable) using these automated machines.

To use this service, you will need the following means of identification:

The credit card used to buy your tickets.

Traveler loyalty card.

You will need to confirm the airline reference given at the time of booking.

Please note that some airlines still issue paper tickets for certain flights in certain sectors. If you receive a paper ticket (card / ticket ticket in your wallet), you must present it at the airport counter or you will not be able to board your flight. In case you are not sure about the type of ticker (electronic ticket / paper ticket) issued to you.
